I'm Irene. And yes, I’m the Irene in Irenecita's (pronounced eye-rene-see-ta). Irenecita is my dad's nickname for me. It’s a Spanglish play on the name Irene. Translated, it means "little Irene."

 

My love for baking started when I was young, thanks to my abuela, who still spends most of her days baking in her kitchen back home in Ecuador. Many of the goodies you'll find here are her recipes with a little twist of my own.

 

This bakery started with the hope that one day it becomes the go-to-abuelas's house for everyone. A place where you feel welcomed, warm, and even a little nostalgic for your own abuela's recipes. I can't wait for you to try a little piece of my home.
